Dani and Fernando from Comando G have brought their talents to Ribeiro, crafting wines from indigenous varieties planted in the Val do Avía. Varied hillside exposures, sandy granite soils, and a cool microclimate lend finesse and energy to these Ribeiro wines.
Viña Meín
The Viña Meín vineyard has been farmed since the 11th century, long-known as a special site for white varieties. Viña Meín was the first Ribeiro white wine producer to achieve notable praise in the Madrid wine scene with their traditional blend of indigenous varieties.

Sal de Terra
A unique bottling from two albariño vineyards farmed by Eulogio Pomares of Zárate winery. The vineyards are over thirty years old and the wine is aged in a combination of chestnut casks and concrete tanks.

Ossian
Un-grafted, pre-phylloxera verdejo vines up to 200-years old are the focus at Ossian. These ancient vineyards are planted in the sandy soils of Segovia at 900m in elevation.
Ribera del Duero

Old-vine tinto fino at La Aguilera — AALTO
AALTO
Founded by Mariano Garcia Fernández in 1999 after his career as technical director for Vega Sicilia. His focus was on old-vine tinto fino (tempranillo) polished to a brilliant sheen. AALTO is a textbook example of modern Ribera del Duero.
Pago de Carraovejas
Founded in 1987 by sommelier José María Ruiz in Peñafiel, the winery has grown from 9 hectares to an intricate assemblage of more than one hundred old-vine parcels. The style is fresh yet powerful. The cellar team employs a variety of vessels for aging including large oak vats and concrete eggs.
Rioja
Artuke
A small-production biodynamic project delivering both incredible value at the entry-level and stunning single-parcel wines from 22 hectares across Baños de Ebro and Ábalos in Rioja Alavesa.
Dominio del Challao
After working with star winemakers around the world, Manu Michelini settled in Rioja Alavesa and began farming a wealth of old-vines. Manu’s style is elegant and typically includes a portion of whole-clusters during fermentation. His garnacha is sourced from a parcel planted in the 1960s and is aged in used 500L French and Austrian oak vessels for 20 months.
